The Extension's single purpose is to provide a power suite for NotebookLM users, facilitating the capture and organization of web content (links, text, and documents) and sending it directly to Google NotebookLM.

2. Data Collection and Usage

NexusLM is designed with a "privacy-first" approach. We minimize data collection to only what is strictly necessary for the features to function.

Browsing Data

The Extension accesses the URL and content of the active tab ONLY when you click the extension icon and choose to send a link or content to NotebookLM. This data is processed locally and sent directly to Google NotebookLM.

Clipboard Data

If you use the "Paste content" feature, the Extension reads your clipboard to extract the text you wish to send to NotebookLM.

User Preferences & Tags

Your custom tags, theme preferences, and settings are stored locally on your device using chrome.storage. This data remains on your machine and is never uploaded to our servers.

3. Data Sharing

We DO NOT sell, trade, or share your data with third parties. All communication is strictly between your browser and Google NotebookLM services.
